Washington Redskins Bring in Terrelle Pryor for Workout

The Washington Redskins are working out former Oakland Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor, per Pro Football Talk. They are taking a look at him, but not sure what they would want to do with him. They already have a few quarterbacks on the roster. Robert Griffin III just returned to the field from his injury. Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy are already established backups on the roster, what would Pryor do for the team?

More from Washington Commanders

Pryor has been out of the league since his release from the Seattle Seahawks. There were thoughts of moving Pryor around on the field to different positions, but not sure if that is something that the Redskins would like to experiment with. Pryor has good speed and can break some tackles and could be used as an offensive weapon, but that would take some time to develop. Pryor has played quarterback throughout his career and an overhaul like that could take some time.

Maybe they are just doing some future research on the quarterback. Next time there is an injury at the position, the Redskins can have his number on speed dial and they can call him up  to get his bags packed.

At this point, Pryor is searching for another opportunity and may have to wait till the next offseason to get his shot. Someone might give him another opportunity to make a team as a backup. That could be his last chance though.
