The New Orleans Saints will open the 2015 regular season this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals but there are still a lot of unanswered questions about this team. The offseason has been pretty crazy for the Saints: Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills are now gone and they will have to rely on a bunch of young guys with little NFL experience on the receiving department.

The offensive line too went through a shake-up as the Saints will start a new center (Max Unger, acquired from the Seattle Seahawks) and a new left guard (Tim Lelito) this season after they cut veteran Jonathan Goodwin and traded long-time starting guard Ben Grubbs to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Defensively, the Junior Galette fiasco made a lot of noise league-wide and now the Saints are without their best pass rusher of the last two seasons. On this side of the ball they will need young guys to step up too: rookies Stephone Anthony and Hau’oli Kikaha will be day-1 starters, replacing Galette and Curtis Lofton.

How about the secondary? Will they survive without Keenan Lewis (out at least four games due to a hip injury)? Will Jairus Byrd ever show up? How will Kenny Vaccaro play?

Some of those question will find an answer really soon. Meanwhile, let’s take a look at the five most important players for the New Orleans Saints in 2015.
