Giants DE Justin Tuck Is Latest To Defend Jets QB Mark Sanchez

This is starting to become a very big deal in New York. The Daily News report that some wanted Mark Sanchez gone from the New York Jets because he was “lazy” has only created controversy because of the reports unnamed sources.

Jets center Nick Mangold was the first to speak out about the absurd nature of players not attaching their names to quotes. Now, another player has come forward to defend Sanchez and tell those “unnamed sources” to man up. The unexpected player speaking out was Giants defensive end Justin Tuck.

Tuck simply stated on Twitter:

"“unnamed sources” = cowards. Man up“"

Tuck and many other NFL players feel the same way. Players speaking to the media and releasing this kind of information without taking any accountability or having the confidence to attach their name to the report only destroys a team’s locker room more.

The Jets are in a bad place right now and these “unnamed sources” are to blame. It seems like it will only get worse in New York. Hopefully for the organization, they find their rat soon.
