Cam Newton Throws for 300+ Yards
Many people may not be predicting this game to be a primarily passing game, however I believe that more now than ever this game will showcase the passing abilities of both Cam Newton and Colin Kaepernick. Reason I have Newton being more of a presence than Newton is because of these defenses. Last week the 49ers were able to shut down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers passing attack, however Rodgers isn’t Cam Newton. Admittedly, Newton doesn’t have the passing ability of Rodgers, however what he does have is his supreme running ability and ability to make something happen. As well, I believe this season one of the reason why the Panthers have done as well as they have this season is due to Newton. He has learned how to, instead of throw the ball into double coverage or try and be the hero and run the ball for a first down, he has learned to stay in the pocket and throw the football accurately and for huge yardage. I have no idea why, but I think that being the first year since the Panthers have been to the playoffs, something big is going to happen. Look for Newton to have an absolutely beast day today and get to the NFC Championship game.
