The Johnny Manziel rumors are in full swing today as the draft draws nearer, and we’ve heard the likes of the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and even the New York Giants linked to Manziel in various reports. Now, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports, via Rotoworld, that the “widespread feeling” in the league is that Manziel will be selected between the third and 13th picks in the 2014 NFL Draft.

That leaves the St. Louis Rams as a possibility, since they are picking at 13 and reportedly really like Manziel. I highly doubt they make the move to draft the risky QB, especially since Rams head coach Jeff Fisher made another public vote of confidence for current starter Sam Bradford, who has a huge 2014 season ahead of him. He looked solid last year before going down with an injury, so it’s all about proving his health and ability in one final chance.
Schefter reports that the Jaguars, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, and Rams are top potential suitors for Manziel’s services, and the Houston Texans and Cleveland Browns are also possibilities that can’t be completely ruled out. The rumors linking the Buccaneers to Manziel have cooled a tad, though, and both the Bucs and Vikings have shown some interest in trading down.
