The Green Bay Packers will be traveling out to Detroit to face the Detroit Lions this weekend. It is a big division rival game for the two teams. The Lions will be looking to take advantage of the home field and will also be hoping that they will get a game up on the Packers.
The Lions have the best wide receiver in the game with Calvin Johnson. The Packers have a receiver that is stepping up to challenge Johnson for the top receiver role. Jordy Nelson had a ridiculous game in week 2, when he put up 209 yards last week.
This game could see both teams lighting up the scoreboard. Aaron Rodgers will be looking to spread the ball around the field and Matthew Stafford also can fling it around. These two offenses will be letting it fly.
Prediction:
The Lions have home field advantage in this game and should benefit from that. They also have the better defense on the field. Will that defense be able to stop the Packers though? This game will go back and forth and will be fun to watch these two teams battle it out. In the end, I will go with the Lions taking this game because of the home field. They have a sick offense and should be able to move the ball up and down the field against the Packers defense.
Lions 34 – Packers 27
