Just how bad is the ankle injury and if he is able to get on the field, how many reps will get out there.
We will keep an eye on his status and see if he steps onto the field for Friday practice. The Lions will face the New York Jets this weekend and I am sure the he would love to get on the field against that secondary. Jordy Nelson and Alshon Jeffery lit up the Jets in the last couple of weeks and Johnson could get his chance this weekend… if his ankle is good enough to go. I am sure that a Megatron with one ankle is still good for 120+ yards and a couple of scores on the Jets secondary.
