Washingotn Redskins WR DeSean Jackson is expected to play tonight against the New York Giants per Ian Rapoport. He did well last weekend and didn’t suffer any setbacks to his shoulder injury, but he will test it out right before the game to ensure that he is ready to go.

More from Washington Commanders

Jackson will go up against a couple of good corners tonight. The Giants will throw Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Prince Amukamara at him on defense tonight.

Jackson is always a threat to go deep. He has that big play ability and will be a threat for Kirk Cousins on offense. Cousins has played well in his time on the field and will look for Jackson on those deep tosses down the field.

The Redskins are looking to get back to .500 with a win against the Giants. Having Jackson on the field on offense will be a nice boost to the offense and will help them move in that direction.
