I don’t know why this seems to happen every season, but players seem to learn that you can actually tie a ballgame in the NFL. I know the rules in college are different, but I assume that the kids watch the NFL game as they are growing up and follow things like this. I obviously have been assuming wrong!

Carolina Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin had no idea that teams could tie in the NFL and his team ended the game with a tie this weekend.
Here is what he told the Charlotte Observer.
"“I didn’t know you could tie in the NFL,” Benjamin told The Charlotte Observer following the game."
I guess that is what I just said. He didn’t knoW!!!!
At least he is a rookie in the league and didn’t have a clue about games ending in a tie. At least he wasn’t the quarterback of a team like Donovan McNabb and didn’t know the rules.
Still, games need a winner and a loser!
