Pittsburgh Steelers WR Martavis Bryant has been playing at a high level for the last few weeks. He is touching some of that potential that the team saw when they brought him in the draft. He has an amazing combination of speed, size and athleticism.
More from Pittsburgh Steelers
- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie sleeper everyone should be talking about
- Kenny Pickett looks amazing going into year two for the Steelers
- 3 players the Pittsburgh Steelers gave up on way too soon
- Rest of NFL will regret letting Steelers land this steal of a rookie
- Steelers would be ideal landing spot for Caleb Williams, Drake Maye
Last weekend against the New York Jets he finished the game with 4 receptions for 143 yards and a score. He averaged 35 yards per catch! That is a ridiculous stat.
He has only played in 4 games this season and already has 6 touchdowns on the year. He has caught a touchdown in eery game that he has played in. Talk about a threat in teh red zone. With his size at 6-foot-5 and his ability to jump out of the stadium, why wouldn’t you look in his direction down there.
Bryant is becomign a big time threat on this offense. With Antonio Brown playing like the best receiver in the game, Martavis will get the benefit of playing against weaker coverage.
Ben Roethlisberger has to be loving the way his wide receiver group is shaping out. Martavis on one side and Antonio on the other. The way that they have been playing, Ben just needs to get some time to get the ball out to them and they should be able to pick up some big chunks of yards and move the team down the field.
Antonio is signed till 2018 and Martavis is in the first year of his rookie deal. These two could be making plays for the Steelers for years and years. It should be a fun show to watch.
