Philip Rivers Must Have a Great Day Passing

Week nine for the Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers was one of the worst games he has seen in a Chargers uniform. This week, he will face a Raiders team which he has statistically succeeded against in the past. In his career facing the Raiders (17 games), Rivers has passes for 4,029 yards, 26 passing touchdowns and 13 interceptions with a 93.5 passer rating and a 62.48% completion percentage. Rivers has won 13 of the 17 games against the Raiders. This week I expect no different.

Since Rivers bombed hard last week (12 of 23 for 138 yards with zero touchdowns and four turnovers), this week is a chance to redeem himself. He has all of his receivers healthy and is definitely going to rebound against a Raiders pass defense that has allowed 241.6 passing yards per game along with 29.1 points per game this season. I believe that WRs Malcolm Floyd and Eddie Royal will come out of the wood work and have huge games for the Bolts. I predict a two-TD performance from Royal and a 100-yard performance from Floyd with Rivers dropping deep bombs early and often.
