Today we present to you the 10 NFL fan bases that need a drink a little more than the rest of the fan bases around the country.
It is no secret that NFL fans are notorious for overreacting to both their favorite team’s success and failures. Heading into week 12 there are a lot of fan bases gearing up for playoff runs. Many of those fans are obnoxiously raising their foam fingers as high as they possibly can. Although, there are just as many fan bases watching their team’s season slip away. These are the fan bases that simply need a drink — fans that are of age of course. It has been an incredibly entertaining 2014 season, but some fans understandably aren’t as happy as others at the moment.
Some fan bases were ready to see their teams turn the corner with a young quarterback this year, but have been sorely disappointed. Others thought their teams were going to be contenders, but have found that to be anything but true. It’s never fun when your team is falling out of the playoff race with well over a month left in the regular season, but that is the case for most of the teams on this list. For one reason or another the 2014 NFL season won’t be particularly memorable for these fans.
To be clear, I’m not trolling any of these fan bases, they’re all proud organizations with loyal fans. I’m simply pointing out that 2014 hasn’t gone as well as some fans had hoped it would back in August.
