LeGarrette Blount Released By Pittsburgh Steelers
By Ernie Padaon
LeGarrette Blount walked off of the field early on Monday Night and the team has disciplined him be releasing him off of the roster.
This must be the day to release running backs off of the roster. The Cleveland Browns released Ben Tate off of their roster today and the Pittsburgh Steelers have released LeGarrette Blount off of their team today as well.

With LeVeon Bell running like a beast, they didn’t see any reason to keep Blount around on the roster.
Blount left the field early on Monday Night and we knew that there was going to be some discipline handed down and the Steelers hit him with the ultimate discipline. He will no longer be part of the roster and the team.
Blount has 266 yards this season and 2 touchdowns in 11 games. He has really fallen out of the rotation on the roster and is part of the reason in which he is upset and walked off of the field. I guess he will have to find some playing time on another roster now.
There are a few teams that could use the help at running back, but I am not sure if they will want to deal with the attitude. WE will see.
