The Jets had a chance to break a 13-13 tie late in the game with a 40+ yard field goal, but they shanked the kick. The Dolphins were able to drive the ball down the field on the next drive and put their field goal in between the uprights. The Jets then had a chance to make the winning drive at the end of the game and had to trust in Geno Smith’s arm to make the play. The game ended with an interception by Geno.

This has been how the season has rolled throughout the year for the Jets and their fans. The image above was perfect. The kid cheering for the Jets and hoping for a miracle to happen with a beer bottle in his popcorn. Perfect. You know the television producer loved that shot and wanted to go live once he saw it. The Jets could be looking for some new hope at the end of the year with the top draft choice. Could they add another new quarterback into the mix with their top overall choice? They will be selecting high on draft day.
