30. . Quarterback. Florida State. Jameis Winston. 5. player

Dan: The Jets’ quarterback problems are well documented, but the jury is out on whether it’s the players or the coaching staff. Regardless, Geno Smith has not developed and Michael Vick is on his last legs. Winston has superstar potential and an attitude to match the fire and brimstone that New York is known for. I think he’s got the swagger to handle the media and finally bring a new level of quarterback play to the Jets, never before seen in the history of the franchise.

Todd: It could be argued that outside linebacker is the strength of Washington’s current defense. However, Gregory’s size and length bring the possibility that he can play 3-4 outside linebacker or add some bulk and be a 3-4 end. Adding an asset to an area of relative strength also isn’t the worst thing in the world when there is no deserving quarterback, offensive lineman or defensive back worthy of the sixth pick.

. Offensive Lineman. Texas A&M. Cedric Ogbuehi. 7. player. 57

Dan: Although adding to the defense is tempting, Chicago needs to improve on the offensive line. Cedric was a high draft prospect last year who returned for another season, and the Bears will snatch him up. No matter if Cutler returns or not, Chicago needs to improve at protecting its quarterback. Ogbeuhi is their man, no matter how much it will upset the Chicago faithful.

Defensive End. Missouri. Shane Ray. 8. player. 31.

Todd: It will be a fortuitous series of events if Shane Ray falls to the Giants at number eight. New York desperately needs pass rushing help, even more so if Jason Pierre Paul tests free agent waters and moves on. While the offense is gelling after a rough start, the Giants defense has been floundering for weeks now. Returns from injury will aid the defensive backfield in 2015; nothing besides adding assets will aid the pass rush.
