4. Amari Cooper Alabama wide receiver

Wide receiver won’t be New York’s biggest area of need this offseason, but they could use another playmaker on the outside. Just think about Cooper, Eric Decker, and Percy Harvin on the same roster. Obviously it would be good to have an effective quarterback under center, but the Jets could address that need later in the draft. In three years at Alabama, Cooper tallied 31 touchdowns and had 14 100-plus yard performances.

His senior year was truly a special one. Cooper averaged an astounding 123.4 yards per game and hauled in 124 catches. He has drawn comparisons to former Crimson Tide star Julio Jones, now playing for the Atlanta Falcons. Cooper broke Jones’ record this past season for most receiving yards in a single season (1,727). In fact, the Miami native owns nine Alabama receiving records over his career. Look out Jets fans, it may not take as long as you think to become a formidable offense.
