Ever since both teams got off to sluggish starts (New England was 2-2, Seattle was 3-3), both the Patriots and Seahawks have played excellent football.
But while the Pats have not shown any real weakness over the last few months, Pete Carroll’s club can be had if you keep his offense off the field. I think the Patriots will do just that and it will come courtesy of running back LeGarrette Blount, who will wind up the game’s MVP as Bill Belichick’s team wins another Super Bowl by three points.

While Seattle has the number one rushing offense in the NFL this year, they also possess the 27th-ranked passing offense. If New England can get the lead early in the game and force Seattle to abandon the run, this clearly favors the Patriots. Green Bay followed this blueprint against Seattle for about 55 minutes in the NFC championship, but choked in the end. New England won’t blow a lead in the biggest game of the year.
Ben Carter: Patriots 21, Seahawks 18
As the Seahawks try and win back-to-back Super Bowls, their average offense will struggle against the emerging Patriots defense, and that will be the difference maker in this game. Seattle’s defense surely will keep them in this game, and maybe even give the offense a chance to win it at the end, but when it is all said and done, I see them falling just short.
Keith Demolder: Patriots 24, Seahawks 23
In perhaps one of the best super bowl match-ups in recent years, both of these teams have overcome adversity. However it is Tom Brady who has the upper hand in this game against Seattle. His ability to succeed in the post-season despite the talent around him is admirable. I believe that Wilson’s four-interception performance against the Packers will catch up to him in the Super Bowl as Brady pulls off a last-second comeback…

Sunday’s Super Bowl will be a battle of two terrific teams that will make sure to keep fans attention the entire game. No matter which team you support in the NFL, the Super Bowl promises to be exciting. Seattle boasts a shut-down defense and an offense that is only successful when Marshawn Lynch plays well. Russell Wilson is very much human and can get exposed in multiple ways as seen in the NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers. New England has the complete package on all areas of the field. Tom Brady is a terrific quarterback and will promise to make the Seahawks defense work for every single play of the game. Age is just a number, especially with Brady. The Patriots will prove to be much more than Seattle can manage. If there is one reason this game will be close however, it will be based off Seattle’s defense. Brady and the Patriots will get the last laugh at the end of the day though.
