David Cobb isn’t the best running back in this year’s draft, but he can be a solid option should the Baltimore Ravens opt to not select one early on.

Cobb is a powerful, downhill back who fights for every yard. He is tough and durable, which could suit him to the Ravens style of play.
He has a stocky frame at 5’11” and 229 pounds, but still has decent speed. He doesn’t have lightning quickness, but is fast enough to break away from defenders and make big plays.
Cobb is tough to tackle, and that will bode well for him in the NFL. He gained 54 percent of his yardage after contact between from 2013-14, according to NFL.com.
He put in an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl in January too. NFL Draft Analyst Mike Loyko posted the following on Twitter:
He’s projected by many to be taken in the third or fourth round, so Cobb could provide excellent value for the Ravens later on should they avoid the running back position early.
