Percy Harvin, Wide Receiver
Another offensive improvement that the Arizona Cardinals could make is at the wide receiver position. Percy Harvin is expected to be released by the New York Jets following the trade to acquire Brandon Marshall, and would be a perfect addition for the Cardinals.
Harvin had a rough season last year split between the Seattle Seahawks and Jets, but still possesses a lot of talent. There are quite a few teams that will be interested in signing Harvin if he hits the open market, but the Cardinals should go after him. They have Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, and John Brown, but adding the speedy Harvin would make them even more dangerous.
Last season, Harvin caught 51 passes for 483 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers aren’t great, but they’re not terrible either for a receiver who never seemed comfortable in either of the situations that he was in.
Arizona would be very smart to take a chance on Harvin, and he might just take their passing offense to a new level.
