Terrance Knighton, Defensive Tackle
Dan Williams was a key part of the Arizona Cardinals’ defense line last season, but he is about to hit free agency. What better way for the Cardinals to replace him than getting an upgrade in defensive tackle Terrance Knighton?
Knighton ended up recording 30 tackles to go along with 2.0 sacks during the 2014 season with the Broncos.
At 6’3″ and 331 pounds, Knighton is the perfect plug for the middle of a defensive line. Arizona’s run defense would immediately take a step in the right direction. Knighton isn’t going to come cheap, but he would be well worth the contract that it would take to sign him.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Cardinals try to re-sign Williams first, but Knighton is definitely going to be on their wish list. Knighton would be a perfect addition, and the Cardinals defense could get back to being dominant once again next season.
