3. Does the hiring of Marc Trestman improve the offense?

Head coach John Harbaugh certainly would be content if his offensive unit performed just as well as it did this past season. The biggest issue (if there is one) for the team on this side of the ball has been the constant changes at offensive coordinator.

In 2012, Cam Cameron was still calling the shots for quarterback Joe Flacco and company before he was let go late that year and replaced by Jim Caldwell. The now-current head coach of the Detroit Lions was still in Baltimore in 2013 but went he took over in the Motor City, former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak was named offensive coordinator. Now Kubiak is the head coach of the Denver Broncos and Trestman, who spent the last two seasons as the sideline leader of the Chicago Bears, has the keys to the Ravens’ offensive car.

So can the well-traveled coach make the Ravens even better offensively? Trestman has enjoyed a lot of success and takes over a team that scored a team-record 409 points in 2014 and don’t be shocked if Baltimore ups that total this upcoming season.
