How will life be with the New England Patriots without Darrelle Revis creating his own island on their defensive secondary? Make no mistake about it, losing him via free agency will be a massive blow to their defense but don’t worry, the Patriots will address the void by drafting cornerback Marcus Peters.

While he won’t be an instant starter, he excels in man-to-man coverage and will make the case to make people forget all about Revis. He’s tough as nails and loves to intimidate opposing receivers to remind them that he’s the real deal.

He’s confident in his skills and has the right state of mind that the Patriots love to see when drafting a top defender into their defense. At 6’0″ and 197 pounds, he fits the mold of being a solid cornerback that could be developed towards being another shut-down defender.

While most see him as an emotional kind of player when he makes mistakes, the Patriots have the right leadership in place to get him on the right track towards developing his career to the pro level. If anyone can do it, it’s Bill Belichick as he knows exactly what to do in order to get the most out of his players.
. Cornerback. Ohio State. Marcus Peters. 32. player. 47
