Buffalo hasn’t been a legitimate playoff contender for quite some time, but nearly made it in last season. They had no business making the run last year, but their defense was able to carry them to a 9-7 record. If they had taken care of a couple of games that were theirs to win, they would have made the playoffs and who knows what type of run they could have made.
Unfortunately, they were not able to come up with this wins and missed the playoffs by a hair.
That being said, the Bills are not going to sit around and hope that their team can take the next step this season. They are being extremely active and bringing in pieces that are proven winners. It is extremely obvious that they are growing impatient of not competing for a playoff spot, and they are going to do everything in their power to break out of that rut.
What grade do they get for the big acquisitions that they have made so far this offseason?
