Philadelphia Eagles: A Seven Round Mock Draft

Seventh Round: Tony Washington, OLB, Oregon
Start with a Duck. Finish with a Duck.
Washington took over for Dion Jordan at Oregon using his lankiness and pure athletic ability to be a versatile and disruptive force for the Duck defense. He led the team in tackles for loss and sacks in 2014 and, while he doesn’t have the same clout that Jordan had coming out of college, he’s got a very similar skill-set.
The Eagles are light at outside linebacker with the departure of Trent Cole and the uncertainly about last year’s top pick Marcus Smith.
And while Washington is far from a sure thing, he’s an Oregon player that Kelly can be certain has the right work ethic and skill set to thrive in the system.
