35. A lot could happen with the No. 2 selection of the draft, but if the Titans decide to keep this pick, the best defensive lineman in the draft will be playing in Nashville this fall. Williams will provide some relief to a Titans defense that wasn’t great in ’14.
Tennessee last season allowed the sixth most yards per game last season with 373.0 yards per game. Teams converted third down on the Titans’ 94 times last year (224 attempts) and fourth down five times on 11 attempts.

With a player like Williams on their roster at defensive tackle, it would be all but certain the opposition wouldn’t average 5.4 yards per play this upcoming season.

Williams in his final collegiate season finished with 71 tackles, six sacks and one interception. This would be a smart choice for the Titans, and they can look for a quarterback later in the draft.
. DT. USC. Leonard Williams. 2. player
