Alabama. Amari Cooper. 5. player. 57.
Another trade in the top 5. Recovering from that horrible Robert Griffin III trade from just a few years ago, the Redskins do not have much young talent on their roster. That said, stockpiling draft picks by trading down would be wise. The Redskins also have a ton of needs, so trading down makes sense in two ways. On the contrary, the Bears are in need of bringing in a game-changing receiver to soften the blow left by Brandon Marshall. Alshon Jeffery is the real deal, but it’s yet to be seen if he can handle an offense as the No. 1 receiver.

Even though they’re in a rebuild, getting Cooper would be huge for the Bears. He’s the smartest receiver prospect I’ve ever scouted. He has excellent body control and his hands are simply so reliable. To go with this intriguing traits, Cooper is also an above-average route-runner, so in Adam Gase’s vertical offense, Cooper will excel tremendously. There is a price that comes with this, but the Bears need another game-breaking receiver for Jay Cutler to work with, and they can’t sit around and hope that the New York Jets don’t select him.
.
