Baltimore Ravens: Breaking Down 2015 Schedule
By Phil Naegely
Super Bowl 49 occurred less than three months ago and the 2015 season with the goal of reaching Super Bowl 50 will kick off in less than five months. It is now time for every NFL team to start preparing to reach Levi’s Stadium and be a participant (not a spectator) of Super Bowl 50. With that in mind, each and every one of the 32 NFL team’s schedules were released on Tuesday night.

The Baltimore Ravens will face their AFC North divisional rivals (Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers) home and away. Their 10 non-divisional games will come against the Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars, St. Louis Rams, and Seattle Seahawks at home, and and the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers on the road. Overall, their non-divisional matches will feature some games they should wins and others that will be more challenging and considered a toss-up.
They will be challenged from the season’s first week as they head out on the road for the first five of the seven games. Flacco’s chemistry with his passing core, which will be without Owen Daniels who signed with the Denver Broncos, will need to be developed fully before their first of two road trips. Each trip will feature two straight games against West Coast teams.
They asked the league for this in order to limit traffic and it appears that the NFL has obliged. This will be a great gift and the Ravens must take advantage. They won’t be to take cross-country flights for four west coast games. Instead, they will be able to adjust and prepare for their next opponent without time zone changes messing with them.
Without further adieu, take a month by month look at the Ravens’ 2015 NFL schedule.
