Patriots lose (1-1)

Jacksonville Jaguars @ New England Patriots, Week 3:

While many people think this is a sure bet, the Jaguars are a somewhat talented team this year, and with Garoppolo at QB I wouldn’t put anything down a sure bet just yet. Still the Patriots should be able to control the game offensively and shut down T.J. Yeldon putting all the pressure on Blake Bortles. The Pats will likely force turnovers and through those take the game. With Brady this would be a no doubt win. In this game I would expect LeGarrette Blount, if he is still the starting RB at this time, to have a big game or he might be in danger of losing his starting spot. In the end, the Pats will win this game with or without Brady.

Patriots win (2-1)

New England Patriots @ Dallas Cowboys, Week 5:

The good thing the for the Patriots is that the Cowboys were not nearly as good at home last year, as they were on the road. The Pats also have an extra week to prepare for this game which will also be advantage, as Dallas will be coming off a tough game in New Orleans. Still this is another game where the Pats secondary flaws will likely be exposed. I think if Brady plays this game, the Patriots win a shoot out, but since Garoppolo is still supposed to start in this game, it will be a very tough game in which Tony Romo and Dez Bryant tear through the secondary and get themselves a win.

Patriots lose (2-2)
