With this past season’s 24-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs, the Lions dropped their eighth straight postseason game, tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for not only the longest active streak in this regard but the worst-such skid in NFL history…Dating back to 2002, no team in the NFL has won fewer road games than the Lions, who own a dismal 24-80 mark away from home the past 13 seasons. But it should also be noted that more than half of those victories (14) have come in the last four years…Want to know one huge reason the Lions won 11 games in 2014, the team’s highest total since finishing 12-4 in 1991? Jim Caldwell’s club committed only 20 turnovers in 16 regular-season games. The previous season, Detroit coughed up the ball 21 times during the club’s 1-6 finish…
