1. Sam Bradford
Last, but not least, is QB Sam Bradford. In his debut with the Eagles, he was a very bright star within many great things that happened for Philadelphia. He only played one drive, but connected with his teammates accurately. More importantly, he got up after taking some hard hits.
This was Bradford’s first big test on the ACL he tore a year ago. He passed with flying colors and should see more action against Green Bay. The Eagles were smart to only play him one drive after he took a few hits and got back up. Unlike with how Washington handled Robert Griffin III as he got pummeled play after play and left injured, the Eagles saw what they needed to see from Bradford and removed him before he picked up a serious knock.
Bradford overthrew some of his targets, but that is common for those recovering from ACL injuries. He will definitely be a player to watch against the Green Bay packers in Week 3 action as the Eagles look to stay in control of their play on both sides of the ball.
