2. Brandon Weeden won’t have a turnover of any sort

That’s saying a lot for a backup quarterback who in has career has totaled 28 interceptions (3.4 interception percentage) and one who had been sacked 56 times in his career, 55 of those times when he was the quarterback in Cleveland. Even with those numbers, and an immense amount of pressure on him, Brandon Weeden will not have a turnover of any sort this Sunday.

Even with all the injuries mounding up on the offensive side for the Cowboys, Weeden still has some good things going for him. The quarterback has one of the best offensive lines in front of him, and if things turn out the way I predicted earlier, the rushing game should be a big help for him as well.

The one worry I have with the Cowboys is without Bryant, and now Romo, can they run as smoothly, and can the coaching staff get the fourth-year quarterback the right play calls he needs to be successful? Last weekend, when forced to enter the game in the second half, Weeden was 7-of-7 for 73 yards and one touchdown.

By the way, as a starter, Weeden has a career record of 5-16 overall. The last time Weeden made five or more starts in a season (2013), he totaled nine interceptions (a 3.4 INT percentage).

Last year when playing for Romo, Weeden had two interceptions, and in his lone start, the Cowboys lost. If Weeden can just manage the game, and the rest of his teammates can pick up some slack while stepping up their game in the process, Weeden will be turnover-free against the Falcons.
