The Seattle Seahawks are coming off their first win of the season, a Week 3 26-0 defensive shutout of the Chicago Bears. They will be looking to carry that energy into Week 4, where they will face the winless Detroit Lions at home on Monday Night Football at CenturyLink Field.
Also On Spin Zone: Is Russell Wilson Sliding in QB Rankings?
Both teams have had surprisingly slow starts to the season. The Lions are 0-3 after a tough opening to the season and the Seahawks sit at 1-2 after some tough away losses.
1. The “Legion Of Boom” Will Embarrass Matthew Stafford With Three INT’s
Stafford hasn’t been good so far this season, he is second worst in the league in interceptions (5) and has an awful 78.7 passer rating. With the return of Kam Chancellor last week against the Bears the Seahawks secondary look in great shape and it’s only going to get better as Chancellor gets more playing time. I know the Seahawks are yet to record a pick but this backfield is primed for a big outing now that L.O.B is fully assembled and Monday will be the night.

2. Russell Wilson Dominates With 400 Total Yards
Marshawn Lynch is listed as 50/50 to play against the Lions on Monday night. If Lynch doesn’t play and the running game struggles, look for Wilson and the Seahawks to unleash a potent passing attack. With receivers Jermaine Kearse, Doug Baldwin and explosive rookie Tyler Lockett all showing flashes of brilliance this season, Wilson looks set to hit 300 yards passing. As the Lions consistently drop in to coverage Wilson will use his mobility to pick up a further 100 yards on the ground. I also see Wilson with a season high four touchdowns. It will be a big day for Wilson.
3. Jimmy Graham Will Be the Game’s Leading Receiver
After Graham showed his annoyance with the lack of his involvement in the Seahawks offense in Week 2, the Seahawks made sure he was used in Week 3 and it paid off. Graham had 83 yards on seven catches and scored a touchdown. The Lions have given up a touchdown to a tight end in each of their first three games this season. Graham will be the focal point in the offense Monday and looks set for his first 100-yard game of the season. Graham will finish with 115 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
4. Michael Bennett Has Multiple Sacks
The Lions offensive line has been average to say the least this season, allowing two sacks on average per game. They seem to be very vulnerable against a good pass rush and the Seahawks have one of the best front sevens in the NFL. With defensive end Cliff Avril demanding attention on the right side of the defensive line and blitzing linebackers, I see things opening up for DE Bennett. Bennett has two sacks already this season, and I think he will add three to that tally on Monday night. He will be unblockable.
5. Tyler Lockett Scores On A Kick Return “Again”
Lockett is the talk of the NFL with his explosive ability in the return game. He already has a kick-off and a punt return touchdown this season. He will become one of the best returners in the history of the NFL. He will rack up over 150 return yards and score on a 55-yard punt return against the Lions.
