“Greg Olsen Had 28 Yards on Sunday”
The best way to follow up an 8 catch 134 yard and two touchdown performance in Greg Olsen’s book is to catch two passes for 28 yards. While this is disappointing for Fantasy Football players everywhere, Olsen probably doesn’t care. His team won in real life, but there are many players of Fantasy Football who are demanding answers today. Olsen is supposed to be one of Cam Newton’s most reliable weapons but this Sunday he worked more as a decoy than a weapon.
Should this performance really be that surprising? Defenses know Olsen is Newton’s favorite target and this game isn’t even the worst game of the season so far for Olsen. While many of us got excited for Olsen after his 26 point performance last week this week he left us with a dud. He was outscored by 20 tight ends and 27 kickers this week. Olsen should still have a strong season as he comes up big when the Panthers need him to win games. This week he wasn’t needed that much in the passing game.
