In what is likely an obvious addition to the stock risers, Adrian Peterson was back in form against the Detroit Lions in Week 7.
After a disappointing 60 yard performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6 (he averaged less than three yards per carry), it was critical for Peterson to bounce back in Week 7.
He responded in a big way for the Minnesota Vikings, putting up 98 yards on the ground and catching three passes off three targets for 12 yards.
It was a return to vintage Peterson (5.16 yards per carry) and his performance was critical for beating the Lions.
Adrian Peterson is a known commodity and, like Harrison Smith, is one of the dependable veterans for the Vikings. What is nice to see from him is that at age thirty he can still come back after a mediocre game to put up impressive numbers. Peterson is now fourth highest rusher in the NFL with his 530 yards.
It was important to see him rebound in Week 7 and pleasant to see him perform so well. His stock definitely rose in the minds of a lot of fans this week.
