Expansion
I get it. The NFL wants to go overseas to expand their brand and of course make more money. That’s all fine and dandy but you’re taking games away from local fans who most likely were taxed to have a stadium in their city. You’re taking home games away from teams who would benefit from a home crowd instead of a crowd full of people trying to figure out why the clock stops all the time wearing jerseys of teams that aren’t even playing there. There are other ways to expand the brand without hurting Americans or teams.

Why should Jaguars fans have to lose a game a year just because the NFL wants to make more money in England? Â The NBA has started playing in other countries but their teams play 82 games in a season and playing one game in another country may not affect their playoff chances. NFL teams only play 16 games and home games are crucial for both the teams success and the fans experience. It makes no sense to play overseas and reduce the quality of the game and take a game away from local fans.
