Another week on the stock riser list for Linval Joseph as his dominant play as an interior lineman continues to get attention.

Operating as more than a block-demanding, run-stuffing sort of player, Joseph is wreaking havoc on the opposition and Sunday’s game agains the Oakland Raiders was no exception.
Joseph was credited with a sack (which he cleaned up) and eight tackles. Five of his tackles were solo and one of them was for a loss. Oh, and he also had a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus credited him with five defensive stops (plays ending with an offensive failure) counted him with seven “wins” against opposing linemen.
All in all, not a bad week.
As the Vikings continue to surge toward the postseason perhaps no player is being “discovered” as much as Joseph right now. He’s getting plenty of attention for all the right reasons and his play is transcending just opposing coaches giving him attention through double teams and scheme changes. He’s a defensive tackle with a name that’s quickly approaching household status.
Spread the word because this big man deserves to be considered among the best at his position right now.
