The Washington Redskins have been hot with Kirk Cousins as the starting quarterback. The Redskins will try to run the ball with Matt Jones and Alfred Morris, but the Bears have had some success in stopping the run, and with 4 fumbles by Jones this season, they will take advantage of that. The Bears defense will need to stuff the run and pressure Cousins, who is prone to making mistakes when hurried in the pocket. But don’t rule out Cousins who loves to throw the deep ball to DeSean Jackson up the middle. The Bears defense has struggled covering this area.

Cutler should have time to throw and move in the pocket as Washington’s pass rush has been minimal. He will need to target Alshon Jeffery and Martellus Bennett and utilize their height for big plays. However, Cutler has overthrown the ball on several occasions this season and will need to be on target, avoiding tight spaces and getting rid of the ball when necessary. With the success of tight end Zach Miller, he will definitely be an end zone asset. This is a charged up Bears offense and with Cutler’s cannon arm he will used it to his advantage.

Prediction: Bears win a close one
