– Lions Running Game Remains Non-Existent

One of the main problems for the Lions this season has been their inability to run the football effectively. Ameer Abdullah has been the been the main running back for the Lions in his rookie season, as he leads the team with 96 carries and 347 rushing yards. In his rookie season, Abdullah is averaging just 3.6 yards per carry, but he is still doing better than Joique Bell, who is averaging just 2.9 yards per carry.

The Packers’ run defense hasn’t been very good in 2015, as they have allowed 1,241 rushing yards this season, and runners are averaging 4.2 yards per carry against them.

In the first meeting between the two teams, it was Bell who got the majority of the carries, but his results were awful, as he had totaled just 17 rushing yards on 14 carries. It almost has to be a better performance for the Lions on the ground against the Packers this time around, but it still won’t be a good showing for the Lions.

Prediction: 65 total team rushing yards.
