– Rodgers Gets Pressured

Part of the reason for some of the struggles of Rodgers and the Packers’ offense has been their inability to keep Rodgers upright in recent weeks. In the last five games, the Packers have allowed 15 sacks, three of which were allowed in their loss a few weeks ago to the Lions.

The Lions are one of the best teams in the NFL at getting to opposing teams quarterbacks, as they rank fifth in the NFL with 30 total sacks this season. The Packers will have to focus on blocking Ezekiel Ansah, who has 11.5 sacks this season, and is coming off a great game against the Eagles.

Ansah became very acquainted with Mark Sanchez on Thanksgiving, as totaled 3.5 sacks in the Lions’ win. The Packers haven’t protected Rodgers well at all in their recent funk, and the Lions are going to be able to exploit that weakness again.

Prediction: Rodgers gets sacked four times.
