Final Score Prediction, Game MVP

The outlook for this game is kind of bleak for the Bears. Quarterback Jay Cutler has giving off the idea that he simply doesn’t care. Whether that’s fair or not, his play kind of backs it up. He is one of the more gifted passers in all the NFL. Yet he is 67-67 as a starter and has topped the 4,000 yard mark just once in his career. Cutler also seems to have a knack for throwing his worst passes when his team can least afford it.

Alshon Jeffery is an absolute beast at wide receiver, but outside of him the threats simply aren’t there. He can only do so much on his own and the Texans defense is as solid as they come.

With players like J.J. Watt, Jadeveon Clowney, Whitney Mercilus, Brian Cushing and Kareem Jackson these guys are never to be taken lightly. O’Brien has done a good job at keeping this unit focused and strong while he has also been working on improving the offense. With a new quarterback and plenty of weapons around him, that offense may finally be ready to take the next step. The Bears are as good a team as any for them to get in rhythm against.

Game MVP: Will Fuller. Look for the rookie to haul in a couple deep passes, with one going to the house for six as he makes the Texans look brilliant for spending a first round pick on him.

Pick: Chicago Bears: 13, Houston Texans: 27
