For the Vikings, despite a dismal performance from their star running back Adrian Peterson (19 carries, 31 yards) and an average outing from quarterback Shaun Hill, the team was still able to put up 25 points thanks to their defense. A 77-yard pick-six by Eric Kendricks, and a 24-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Danielle Hunter highlighted the day for the defense.

The Vikings offense will need to play a lot better in Week 2 if they want to match points with the explosive Packers’ offense. The big question for the Vikings this week is if Shaun Hill will get another start, or if recently acquired Sam Bradford will make his Minnesota debut.
