The Bears will host their first home game of the 2016 NFL season after dropping their Week 1 matchup to the Houston Texans. Bears’ quarterback Jay Cutler didn’t play well, only throwing for 216 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. In his defense, his offensive line did not help very much, as Cutler was sacked five times in the game.
For the Eagles, it was a different story. Their rookie quarterback, and second overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Carson Wentz played lights out in his debut. He completed 22 of his 37 passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns. The best part of his game, however, was a zero in the turnover department. For Wentz, his NFL debut was awesome, but now he heads into Chicago to take on a tough defense.
Both teams will be looking to get after the other teams quarterback, so whoever ends the game with the most sacks, may walk away with a victory.
We will get to see both teams in the spotlight, as the game is on ESPN’s Monday Night Football with kickoff scheduled for 8:30 PM ET.
