The New York Giants face the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on Monday Night Football. Here’s all you need to know to watch online in Week 4.
It’s an NFC showdown on Monday Night Football this week, as the New York Giants (2-1) take on the Minnesota Vikings (3-0) in primetime. The Giants are coming off a disappointing 29-27 Week 3 loss at the hands of the division rival Washington Redskins, while the Vikings are feeling pretty good about themselves after a 22-10 win against the Carolina Panthers on the road.
The Giants self-destructed in last Sunday’s loss, committing 11 penalties for 128 yards. They also had three turnovers (including two critical interceptions thrown by Eli Manning) and lost the time of possession battle by seven minutes. After scoring three first half touchdowns, the Giants settled for only two field goals in the second half (both coming after their drives bogged-down in the red zone).
For the Vikings, their defense carried the team to victory. They held the explosive Panthers’ offense to only 10 points, 306 total yards, and forced three takeaways. Just as important, the Vikings sacked MVP Cam Newton eight times, and hit him twelve total times. After allowing 10 first quarter points, the Vikings defense shut out the Panthers the rest of the way.

The Giants will need to play a lot better on Monday Night if they want to beat a Vikings team that some are calling the best in football. Despite losing quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and running back Adrian Peterson to knee injuries, the Vikings just keep winning, and Mike Zimmer is the early season favorite for Coach of the Year.
The last time these two teams played was in Week 16 of the 2015 season. Missing Pro Bowl receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. (due to suspension), the Giants were shellacked at home 49-17. This time around, however, Beckham is playing.
This might be the best matchup this week, so needless to say, this is a must-watch. Luckily, there are many ways you can tune in. You can watch it on ESPN, live stream the game on Watch ESPN (you do need a subscription for this service), and follow along on NFL.com.
