Jets at Browns Recap, Highlights, Final Score, More
The New York Jets started slow, but dominated the second half on their way to a victory over the Cleveland Browns.
This game was a tale of two halves. The first half was dominated by the Cleveland Browns, but the New York Jets recovered to dominate the second half and win going away.
As stated, the first half was all Cleveland. Terrelle Pryor posted over 100 yards in the half, much of it by beating Darrelle Revis. Cleveland scored on their opening drive and New York’s first two went three-and-out. Ryan Fitzpatrick took a vicious hit on the first drive that caused him to lose his helmet. He was removed by the NFL spotter to check for a concussion, but came right back in. There was some wonder how he was feeling as he only threw for 30 yards in the first half as the Browns hit the break leading 20-7.
In the second half, the game went the exact opposite way. New York opened the second half with exactly what they needed—a long drive that ended in a touchdown. The Jets marched it 78 yards on 12 plays, ending with a 24-yard touchdown pass from Fitzpatrick to Quincy Enunwa, changing the momentum.
The New York defense never let Cleveland get anything going until late in the fourth quarter and posted two more turnovers. The offense was dominating, putting up 24 straight points. Bilal Powell was explosive and Matt Forte posted two more touchdown passes. Fitzpatrick threw the ball more accurately, got the ball to Brandon Marshall (no catches in the first half), and Enunwa was active once again.

The Browns scored late in the fourth quarter and added a two-point conversion. But one failed onside kick later and New York clinched their second consecutive win.
Three Stars
Quincy Enunwa, Jets — In the absence of Eric Decker, Enunwa showed why he is becoming a valid second option to Brandon Marshall. He finished with four catches for 93 yards and a touchdown.
Bilal Powell, Jets — Powell only carried the ball six times, but was great when he did, racking up 76 yards including a beautiful tip-toe down the sidelines for a 35 yard touchdown.
Terrelle Pryor, Browns — This young player is making people forget he was once a quarterback. He more than held his own against Revis, posting six receptions for a game-high 101 yards.
