Taking a look at the date of the end of the 2017 NFL season with Super Bowl 52

In Houston, the 2016 NFL season reached it’s conclusion with Super Bowl 51. NRG Stadium has been around for some time, but the city that does a great job of hosting was due. Yes, it was a glorious and well put together weekend in Houston leading up to Feb. 5, 2017. However, there is a good chance that Super Bowl 52 could be even more impressive—even if it’s a substantially different environment.

After hosting the Minnesota Vikings for the first time since being built in the 2016 season, U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN will play host to Super Bowl 52. The facilities for the Vikings new stadium are absolutely phenomenal. What’s more, the city of Minneapolis has a fantastic—though again, cold—reputation for these types of events. Therefore, it should be a great experience for Super Bowl 52.

Obviously it’s far too early to say who will be taking the field to compete for the Lombardi Trophy following the 2017 NFL season. The New England Patriots could surely get back there from the AFC. However, young up-and-coming teams such as the Oakland Raiders or even someone like the Tennessee Titans could be a dark horse.

Like in the AFC, it’s not far-fetched to imagine the Atlanta Falcons making it to Super Bowl 52. However, teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and many others will have something to say about that.

Though there’s plenty of football left to be played, the real question is what day NFL fans should circle on their calendars for next year’s Big Game. More pointedly, the question is when will Super Bowl 52 be played?

Once again on the first Sunday in February, Super Bowl 52 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. So there you have it. Start preparing yourself, start hoping your team is in Minneapolis, and look forward to football coming back once again.
