Tracking all of the 2017 NFL free agency rumors on Saturday, March 11, including the Browns looking to make a deal.
Another day in 2017 NFL free agency of course brings a whole other set of NFL free agency rumors. Friday featured a whole mess of craziness, brought to you courtesy of Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. They started by pulling off a heist with the Carolina Panthers to land defensive end Kony Ealy. Even with a deal to land such a high-profile player, the Pats were just getting started.
Later in the evening, Belichick finally worked his magic and pulled off a deal with the New Orleans Saints for wide receiver Brandin Cooks. In exchange, the Saints get the No. 32 pick in addition to another selection while the Patriots get a pick in return as well. The addition of Cooks is monumental as they now have another receiving weapon to add to an offense that won a Super Bowl and is already getting Rob Gronkowski back into the fold.

- Dallas Cowboys made the trade everyone else should have made
- Pittsburgh Steelers rookie sleeper everyone should be talking about
- Anthony Richardson putting jaw-dropping talent on display immediately
- Denver Broncos’ stud wide receiver might be out for a while
- Washington Commanders: Three takeaways from win over Ravens
With that being said, there are still plenty of dominoes left to fall. Sticking with the Patriots, they still are waiting on any kind of resolution regarding free agent linebacker Dont’a Hightower. What’s more, the Tony Romo saga continues to play out. Players such as Dontari Poe and plenty of others also remained unsigned as of Day 3 in free agency.
Of course, the Cleveland Browns still have moves to make, most notably including Brock Osweiler. They pulled off the shocking trade for the overpaid bust of a quarterback, but all indications are that they don’t plan on keeping him around. So what are they planning to do with him then? That’s one of many questions left to be answered.
As we look for those answers, follow along with the day’s 2017 NFL free agency rumors, presented in reverse chronological order:
