New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins, a.k.a. ‘Jackrabbit,’ is taking personal marketing and branding to hilarious new places.

Janoris Jenkins made his case to be called the NFL’s best cornerback in 2016. Pro Football Focus listed Jenkins as an honorable mention for the best cornerback against the slant pattern in 2016. The publication also ranked Jenkins, nicknamed both “Jackrabbit” and “Clamps,” as the 40th best player of 2016. He also helped New York’s secondary to become the second best in the league.

One wonders how PFF would grade JackRabbit’s hooded sweatshirt.

On the night of Dec. 14, 2016, Jenkins tweeted out a pic of his new exclusive hooded sweatshirt to mixed reactions.

Around the same time, Big Blue’s shutdown corner also posted a pic on Instagram and received a ton of support.

At the time, Jenkins was coming off his best game as a Giant, shutting down Dez Bryant to complete the sweep over Dallas. Jenkins would suffer a scary back injury the following Sunday against the Detroit Lions that limited him the rest of the regular season and into the playoffs.

Oddly enough, while the media has lately made Jenkins the go-to guy for quotes and soundbites, his “Beware the Hare” hoodie has slipped past press coverage. The sweatshirt features an animorphed(?)… animorphized(?)… cartoon version of Jenkins’ face that looks like Bugs Bunny with dreads and a torn right ear. While the caricature is a sight to behold, the price might be even more eye-opening: $50!

Meanwhile, as far as playing football goes, Jenkins is looking forward to defending Odell Beckham (per 247 Sports) and newly signed free agent Brandon Marshall in practice, saying it will be “intense,” (per Giants Wire). The former Florida Gator will also be chomping at the bit to get after new Washington Redskin wide receiver Terrelle Pryor. That matchup paired with the Beckham-Norman rivalry should make the Giants-Redskins series the NFL’s most heated in 2017.

If Jenkins continues to put the clamps on opposing wide receivers, fans might be more willing to shell out half a hundo for Bugs Bunny’s dope brother on a hoodie.
