The San Francisco 49ers face the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday, Aug. 11 in the NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The first week of preseason football is still rolling along as the new-look San Francisco 49ers head to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Kansas City Chiefs. One team is in full-on rebuild mode and the other is fresh off a 12-win season which earned them a division title.

After winning just two games in 2016, the 49ers cleaned house — again. Head coach Chip Kelly and general manager Trent Baalke were both gone, with Kelly lasting just one season with the club. They replaced them with first year general manager John Lynch and another rookie in head coach Kyle Shanahan.

The Chiefs on the other hand look eerily similar to 2016, with the biggest changes being the release of former star running back Jamaal Charles and the drafting of rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Veteran Alex Smith will still be the starter, but Mahomes should see plenty of action. Smith has been a good player since being traded over fromSan Francisco following the 2012 season, but the team has high hopes that Mahomes will be the future. As for the Niners, look to see how they gel with so many new pieces trying to work together as a cohesive unit.

This matchup will be broadcast on NFL Network, which means there are numerous streaming options. NFL.com will have the game, but you can also stream on NFL Game Pass and FuboTV. The latter two require paid subscriptions, however.
