The Cleveland Browns take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Saturday, Aug. 26 in the 2017 NFL preseason. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
It looks like the Cleveland Browns learned what most already knew, Brock Osweiler isn’t a very good NFL quarterback. After trying to showcase him in Week 1 and Week 2 of the NFL Preseason, he is now relegated to the bench ahead of their game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cleveland is apparently going to roll with rookie second-round pick DeShone Kizer under center. He’s pretty raw, but the upside is way more than anything Osweiler can offer. Cody Kessler will get time as the number two quarterback, but unlike Osweiler he’s looked serviceable in his limited action.
The Bucs have no issues deciding who will be their quarterback as Jamies Winston is the man heading into year three — and has been since joining the league in 2015 out of Florida State. He and the Tampa Bay offense can use this game to try and get on the same page after an up-and-down performance the week before where Winston threw some floaters up for grabs.
