Denver Broncos: 3 Bold predictions vs. Bills in Week 3
By Bruce Matson
3. Demaryius Thomas Goes Off
The Bills currently ranks tenth in the league against the pass. However, with just a two game sample on the books for the Bill, those numbers can be a little bit fluky. First off, they played their first two games against the Jets and Panthers, and both teams are not considered to have immensely talented passing offense, making it easy for the Bills to hold both of those teams to lower outputs in the passing game.

With that being said, Denver will be able to test Buffalo’s defense by lining up the most talented wide receiver corps they have seen this year. Both Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders have the potential to have big games this week. Thomas is one of the most talented receivers in the league and he presents a mismatch nightmare in the red zone against Buffalo’s secondary.
There’s a good chance that he scores at least one touchdown this week. He hasn’t scored a touchdown yet this season and he is also due a 100-yard game. Both are very possible this week against the Bills.
What makes this a bold predictions is that he’s currently dealing with a hamstring issue that is limiting his participation in practice. I believe he will play this week and still will produce a good showing against the Bills.
Predictions: 100 yards receiving 1 touchdown
